  1. Laura I bet it would be beautiful if you put twin trees in the Hartley, one on each end? Just a thought Then you can leave that round table in the center and put a natural looking nativity scene. Or you could put a long dining table in the center lengthwise and enjoy a Christmas meal out there with all your family. Because you are right about it being blocked by the doors when it is in the center. Just a thought for in the future. It is really beautiful this year.

  2. I live in the UK , I have no garden nor do I have any interest in gardening or learning how it's done. But every year for the past four years I've popped over to indulge in your Christmas themed decoration videos. Your trees are always so beautiful 🙂

  3. I think the tree is perfection. I love the subtle color the oranges add, with the gold and glass. The icicle lights are just enough to set off the the Hartley and frame the tree. I love the tree placement, I want to go in and explore the space. Please do one thing, if you get snow, please take a picture of the tree lights on with the snow around. What a magical space you created, your kids will have the best memories.

  4. What did you use to cut the tree down to size? Was it manual, or battery driven? I couldn't tell. Seemed to go very easy. Those saws at the tree farms leave a lot to be desired. Would like to go equipped next year! The tree is beautiful and I love the candles. My mom used to tell about them having real candles on the tree–in the 1930's!
